But at the same time, there must have been others who actually had the same skills and ideas as them or even more. So why are they able to succeed more than other humans?
In a word, it would be "Humanity". In detail, there may be various elements called era and luck, but the biggest difference between rival managers and leaders with the same level of skills, knowledge and ideas is their humanity. Yes, the most necessary element at the top to lead a successful organization is the human race that attracts the people around the town.
Well, successful managers may not have any management strategy, marketing, accounting, and general knowledge of management, etc. General knowledge of management as a manager is indeed a must. But it's okay to say the least. Just saying there's no need to learn so deep that you can gain the same professional knowledge of the path.
The top of a company doesn't need to have expertise at all levels of business. If you put in such effort, you wouldn't have enough time for decades. If you lack the knowledge or elements, you just need to hire a professional on that path. It's better to gather the people you need to bring into your team the resources you need to implement your ideas, vision and strategy.
